Chicago Political Theory (CPT) is the Chicago Area Chapter of the international Conference for the Study of Political Thought. It is a venue for presenting and sharing academic work among faculty and students working in political theory and political philosophy at Chicago-area institutions. Members hail from DePaul University, Loyola University at Chicago, Northwestern University, University of Illinois at Chicago, and the University of Chicago.

At the 2002 CPT Conference a group of graduate students formed the Graduate Student Caucus in order to increase the presence and participation of graduate students in the CPT, and to present and share academic work among graduate students of political theory.

This website will serve as the coordinating organ of the Caucus. Upcoming events and useful academic resources will regularly be posted here, as well as calls for papers, works-in-progress, and contact information for the members of the Caucus. We will do our best to keep the information accurate and up to date, but make no guarantee to that effect.
